About this deal

We have already reviewed a couple of hutches from Bunny Business, who claim to be the leading name in the field in the UK, and this one is very impressive indeed. It offers a very large enclosed run area with the living rooms on top, and measuring 41″ width x 20″ depth x 41″, clearly provides more than adequate space for your beloved pet. With strong and well-fixed wire and quality wood construction, you are also giving your rabbits or other small animals the best protection you can provide. If you plan to house your pet outdoors, the hutch should be weatherproof, raised off of the ground, protected from predators, and with constant access to safe hiding places. Smaller hutches, such as 1m x 0.9m x 0.5m, can be used so long as your bunnies or guinea pigs have constant access to a larger enclosed area, such as an attached run or secure shed, and can return to the safety of their hutch at their leisure. Our final choice is one of the most attractive we have seen, and also one of the biggest. Put it this way: if you don’t have space for a hutch that is 2m long, then this one is not for you. Make no mistake, this is a top-quality hutch, and can’t be faulted in that area. In the centre is a split-level hutch area, with runs either side made from top quality timber and with strong wire for maximum protection. It’s a great-looking hutch, but one that will dominate a smaller garden. Rabbits and guinea pigs especially like to stretch their legs on grassy areas in an enclosed run that is either attached to their home or frequently accessible. Their run should be a secure and protected space, offering more, space for them than their hutch. Similar to their hutch, this should have a safe hiding space that they can retreat to. Tunnels and other stimulating toys can be placed in these runs to give them a fun adventure away from their usual home.

Pull-out fully galvanized tray for easy cleaning and of course the tray wont rust and can't be chewed. It’s ideal for keeping two rabbits. If they ever need to be separated, you easily can! It is also perfect to use as a breeding bank. Size – rabbits – and other animals – need adequate space in which to live and play, and you also need to choose a hutch that will fit your available space. Some of these are very big, others not so, but all offer sufficient area for a couple of rabbits to exist happily within. This three-storey rabbit cage design features 3 self-contained spaces, each with a metal pull out tray that makes it easy to keep clean.

Rabbits rank third on the list of popular pets in the UK – behind dogs and cats – and it is estimated that there are almost a million of them kept as pets at any one time. They are excellent pets for children as they are low maintenance, peaceful and fun, and they enjoy interaction with people, too. There are different types, from the smaller dwarf varieties to very large ones that are often kept as house pets, and they are cheap to buy and feed. So, before we have a look at the top 10 best rabbit hutches – and you want the very best for your bunny – a little bit more about rabbits, and the homes we are going to recommend. Model For a larger indoor rabbit hutch that’s suitable for up to six rabbits, there’s the Somerzby Tri-Level.

So, you want the best for your beloved bunny, and you have space in your garden for a quality hutch. What should you be looking for when you choose one for you? Here’s a few tips that you could use to make sure you get everything you need.Indoor Rabbit Cage Bunny rabbits can thrive indoors. Small, furry friends like rabbits or guinea pigs can make great indoor pets, and it all starts with a good indoor rabbit cage.

When used as a single space, there’s a ramp between the two levels. There is a trap door at the top of the ramp that can close to create two separate self-contained spaces. The two-tier design seems to be a popular option for rabbit and guinea pig hutches, and our second choice from Bunny Business is one of these. You get, effectively, a full standard-type hutch on top of a sturdy run – complete with strong wire – which allows for less overall space to be taken up by the construction. It’s a clever way of using available space, and excellent for more compact gardens or yards – or even for indoor use during the colder months.

Rabbits and guinea pigs, despite their size, are extremely active creatures and need plenty of space to scamper or hop around and stretch their little legs. The RSPCA recommends a minimum hutch size of 4ft x 2ft (1.2m x 0.6m) for guinea pigs, but larger is better. For rabbits, the PDSA recommends the minimum space for a pair is 10ft x 6ft x 3ft (3m x 2m x 1m). They should have ample room to hop, run, jump, and dig, and should be able to stand up on their hind legs without their ears touching the top of the hutch. Each of the three levels are ventilated with wire mesh and it’s a great way to keep your bunnies indoors and protected from the outdoor elements. Living World Green Eco Habitat: This gorgeous indoor rabbit cage features transparent walls and recycled rubber wood, and also comes with wheels to make moving and cleaning the hutch easy.
