I've needed a microphone for a long time and got this one for doing voice-overs in my videos. I didn't have a huge variety of knowledge when it came to these things. Samson C01U Pro comes with a small stand which in my opinion is not that adequate to accommodate the weight of microphone, tilting even slightly can cause microphone to fall, so be caution there. The USB cable is also of decent quality. Please refer to the images for more information. Most importantly I have attached a video which shows how easy it is, to operate this microphone. Just plug-in and the drivers will be automatically installed.You can see the response of microphone to sound also. Then the demonstration of voice capture at distance of 7,30,60,100 and 200 cm is given which will help you to analyze the performance and I haven't made any modulation or amplitude change in the voice.

As far as I can tell, the subjective performance of this mic is essentially the same as that of its wired counterpart, and that model has sold well for Samson. The digital noise issue will be a concern if you have a G5 tower-based studio system, but it could be argued that anyone with such a deluxe computer should be looking for a more sophisticated mic anyway!
