There’s no much new to this iteration of the enemies to lovers trope. I actually thought it moved too slowly. I skipped a couple of chapters, fell asleep and even increased the speed of much of the book. Less angst and more levity could have lessened the drag caused by poor pacing, but there is too little of it. Actually, my favorite moments in the story are those that include Gwendolyn’s brother Micha. He is the most endearing and entertaining character. Samantha Rue is an international and USA Today bestselling romance fiction author of young adult and adult fiction novels. The sexual behaviour between MCs was intiated from both Hero and sometimes heroine. So no "rape-like situations" initiated by Hero
Samantha Rue’s “Lords of Wrath” is an interesting story that continues to follow Story, a woman that had signed up to become a Lord’s Lady and had subsequently been used, abused, and hurt. Their story is also very slow burn, so if that's not your style, I would cautiously start it (because I still recommend it lol and I'm also not a fan of slow-burn).

Enemies to lovers romance, safe and when it comes to relationship development of the MCs, that's the proper way to do it! I enjoyed the angst from the start and the surprise for both of them, when they find out mutual attraction. From enemies to enemies with chemistry, to friends, and finally to lovers 😊 The arrangement is simple. No one ever speaks about what happened to Skylar again, and no one gets punished. The author now has more than a dozen novels to her name and has shown no signs of slowing down any time soon.
Every time she consumes a piece of literature, she usually gets inspired and files it away for later use in her writing. Gwendolyn Adams, she’s a loner who’s loved, a girl who works hard and wants to achieve. She’s also Hamilton Bates’ thorn in his side. Tristian is a charming and fair-haired man who seeks to control her with his possessiveness and cold eyes. I absolutely loved the first book and immediately signed up for the second one! I love the story and world Angel and Samantha have created. I was getting bored by bully romances and then BAM here comes this writing duo giving me this high school/academy bully romances; which is hilarious because sometimes I despise academy books but this series is giving me EVERYTHING.A Vampire’s Curse” is the second novel in the “Creature of Habit” series, which was released in the year 2015. Amelia really should have ran when she had the chance to. Away from her job and Asheville. Most importantly though, away from her lethal boss, Grant Palmer. Also, I didn't understand why the brother Em wasn't made accountable for his involvement in the accident. Sure, he was full of remorse. Without Ems involvement, it also wouldn't have happened! In comparison, people acted like Reyn had hurt her on purpose. Like his a well-known predator. The whole incident was an ACCIDENT. Ryen was driving at 14 without a license, but it wasn't (fully) his fault what happened. He shouldn't have driven in the first place, but the accident could have happened to any driver when a deer suddenly appears on a dark road. But Tristian, Rath, and Killian are not the only ones who want her as he is being stalked by someone very dangerous ever since she left town. Working with her friend Angel, they have a few favorite archetypes they love to write about and these personalities and characters usually appear in most of their novels. Hamilton Bates and Gwendolyn Adams, worst couple names ever, are high school enemies who were once friends in grade school. The two now attend boarding school and have an ongoing feud based on socioeconomic status, cultural beliefs and competition. Both top swimmers, Bates and Adams spend an inordinate amount of time together despite him being a social titan and her being an antisocial outcast. Because of the overlap, they both think they know the other well enough to judge. So when Adams’s sister gets too sexually ambitious at a Devil’s party, the society Bates leads, she automatically assumes he is to blame. It is through the fall out and punishment from the party that the couple are pushed together more frequently, stoking their previously banked passions.
Nonetheless despite the many awful things that they had done to her, they made her feel protected, cared for, and special. I really really enjoyed this book. The story was cohesive, engaging, and I absolutely fell in love with Reyn and Vandy. I found this book to be even better than the first one, and I’m so glad I read it. It should be easy for these two to avoid one another. They have nothing in common, other than a single tragic night. But sometimes, the person you know the best is the one who's hurt you most. When an opportunity arises at Preston to revive the Devils, Vandy and Reyn make a deal that will seal their fate once and for all.Again, we know he’s not and he actually spends 0 times with Reagan, but GWEN doesn’t know that. But it’s also never even on her mind for a second.
