Some of the new waxless style toilet seals have a longer seal or can be stacked which can make it easy for anyone to set a toilet without leaks. Wax seals are highly durable and can easily last 20 years or longer as long as the toilet isn’t moved. Its highly durable materials maintain their shape allowing movement in the toilet yet preventing a leak; while at the same time giving the installer multiple attempts at setting the toilet without risk of ruining the seal.
