About this deal

Update; it’s like a cross between Crystal Noir (dark white floral-coconut aspect) and Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle (creamy, smooth vanilla aspect). Ofcourse the quality of this scent is not on par with Dior’s sadly discontinued Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle, this one has great projection for a few hours but fades soon after, HP Sensuelle lasted over 12 hours on me, The Only One Intense has moderate longevity on me, about 5-6 hours…maybe it’s my nose? Anyhow, if you’re a fan of Dior’s Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle and you like Crystal Noir EdP but cannot wear it due to the spices, then you need to atleast test this fragrance. The burnt caramel note emerges as it dries down, rounding out the base, a logical progression from the vanilla-coffee accord. The syrupy florals remain and a cloud of patchouli punctuates it with earthiness as it fades, becoming a sweet musky skin scent. Sillage is moderate and longevity is long-lasting. This really is warm and cozy and just plain simple happy. I think this is such a huggable scent, you know? Like I'd love to smell this on someone when I hug them, or for someone to smell it on me when they hug me. This lasts amazingly well, and while I love it on its own, I find that it layers amazingly well with CH Good Girl, or Lancome La Nuit Tresor and my favourite - with Swiss Arabian Casablanca. The woody aspect of the last one especially is the perfect compliment to the sweetness of The Only One.

its a rich creamy fruity rose scent......and i dont mean fruity in a teen way lol........its an adult version for sure :) i picture a woman in a beautiful long red velvet gown- hair swooped up , perfect red lips - everyone eyeing her type of gal going to a evening gala in this scent :)TOO2 was a huge disappointment basically. To my nose, I smell the first TOO fragrance, but it's getting covered by strong floral scents. I smell rose and berries in the initial spray. I guess it's alright but I prefer the deeper, yummier TOO. Seems like a lot of flankers are coming out that look like they're gonna be more intense but are actually lighter (see Armani Si and Armani Si Passione, though there are other examples).

Sort of tried hard not to like this as I bought too many perfumes I didn’t need another when I just got a bunch and all I wear is Narciso Rouge ! However those notes ,,, how can one say NO to this , violets and cofffee are 2 of my favourite things in life. Iris and pear ,vanilla and patchouli STOP ! This is a must have for me ! EDIT: Friend told me I smelt absolutely divine. Boyfriend pulled me close and said I smelled lovely and sexy. This is a winner in my eyes! The Only One 2 by Dolce & Gabbana is a sweet fruity fragrance. It is quite strong, but not too overpowering. I used three sprays on my arms. What a titillating scent for a breezy summer night. A successful blind buy for me. So glad there’s no patchouli to amplify the vanilla, so it actually works for those who live in warmer climates. It is a dark scent for the evenings, like a creamier, more powdery, more vanillic/sweeter Crystal Noir (EdP) minus the spices, woods and soapy note. I smell the sensual white florals and coconut the most, sweetened by a smooth, powdery vanilla. I own Crystal Noir EdP and have always found it abit too harsh smelling on my skin chemistry, I think I will do well layering these two. Do not overspray this one, the coconut has potential to be overwhelming and smell like cheap car freshener. I’m generally not a fan of coconut in perfumery, but it’s blended well here and really complements the white flowers. Top notes of sparkling Italian mandarin, crisp green apple accord and golden neroli essence illuminate the radiant floral heart of the fragrance. Notes of dazzling gold orange blossom mingle with the heady sensuality of jasmine absolute, and are softly enveloped by creamy, lush coconut essence, which lends a warm and sunny aura to the scent. Smooth, sweet notes of dark vanilla in the base amplify its addictive quality, underpinned by grounding cedar and cashmere woods.

The Only One fragrance that came out in late August 2018 as a new flanker of the original The One from 2006, gets its sequel in the form of the new edition The Only One 2. The first fragrance brought the composition of a gourmand iris in combination with coffee, while chapter 2 introduces a scent of powdery rose and violet with a sweet coffee note. The Only One 2 will be released in mid-February 2019. BUT beware: Don't overspray it! 3 sprays are enough for the whole day. You might hate it at high doses because it is a bit synthetic (at least for my sensitive nose). Quite a few people said this can be used year round and I expected it to be slightly lighter and more floral. Possibly more along the lines of Dolce Garden.

I will never forget the day I first smelled The Only One, and fell in love with it. I was at my sister's, sleep deprived and hormonal from breastfeeding my then four month old, and when I finally gave my arms a break and handed my fitfully sleeping baby to my sister just so I could use the restroom, I spent a few minutes there just gathering myself. That's when my eyes fell on the sample of The Only One she had in her bathroom, and without thinking much, I sprayed it on my arm. You know how some perfumes immediately make you smile, and you know, you simply know in those very first moments that you love it? Well, The Only One was that perfume for me. It's actually a (bad) cross between Goddess and L'Interdit, unimaginative and on the side of cheap. There's way, WAY better than this around... and for cheaper too (!). Huge no for me despite my love for this house and previous concoctions which I treasure. To me this is elements of Armani Code mixed with Dolce Garden’s neroli and coconut with a dash of Alien’s jasmine. These are different, but there are similarities with creamy, sweet white florals. Rouge Malachite has a more forward tuberose, while TOOI has a more forward jasmine. Both have excellent performance. The Only One Intense is now my signature scent and definitely a compliment getter, especially from boys. It is a perfect balance of everything: Not too sweet, not too strong, not too loud, not too juvenile nor too mature. You can really wear it at any occasion, at any season, without being too much. But you should really love coconut and white flowers.I will definitely be wearing this layered with "Vanilla Love" and save my "BO-LP" for special occasions. Performance is not that great for the price. Stays close to the skin and is gone after 4hours or so. On clothes longer but isn't that the case for pretty much every frag?? 🙄 Anyway, don't mind that if the price is ok but it's not, lol. Still expensive even at discounters. 😳 I usually don't go for berry/cherry-rose-powder perfumes because I have a few in this genre and I always think they're enough(Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, Nina Ricci L'Extase, Guerlain La petite Robe Noir Intense,Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge and a few more sweet berry, rose with some powder perfumes). but I had to try this one because I really like D&G The Only One eventhough it's not unique.

I’ll need to do a bit more testing to see if I can pull it off in Florida summers. It is much less tropical than I imagined even with the coconut note. The coconut note is close if not the same used in Dolce Garden. It’s not the stand out note here. I have had to think very hard to remember the last time I finished a full sized bottle of fragrance. I tend to rotate my fragrances - season, emotion, shaking up my fragrance wardrobe (I am so easily bored....). This one stayed put - at my side, within easy reach - a uplifting daytime scent, a comforting night time scent. I truly appreciate how this smells on me, and how it makes me feel. It's a mix of all that I love in a fragrance. It's sweet, but does not make my head hurt. It's warm, but not so warm that it gets ignored when the temperature rises. It makes me feel both sexy and clean. We all - especially fragrance tragics like myself - spend a lot of time searching for that certain something, a scent that we doesn't require a great deal of pondering and thought. This is so bland and disappointing. I mean, it's ok... it's wearable, but it's so shy and retiring with no character. I figured it might be a fresh take on The One which my mother wore for date nights and special occasions, and when I was a teenager and didn't have special occasion fragrances of my own, I sometimes wore it too. The One has been watered down so much I don't even recognise it anymore, so I wanted to try this one instead. But this is such a boring flanker, and a boring scent in its own right. It smells sweet and watery. I was curious to try it when reviewers described this as a CEO, boss lady signature fragrance. No, it's not... It's not going to offend anyone, but when it comes to inoffensive scents then there are better options, when it comes to Amber Vanillas there are better options, and when it comes to boss lady fragrances then this doesn't even belong in the list but again, there are better options. Will use up my sample by layering, it's so easy to layer because it doesn't have much substance. Over all, this composition is really well done, and all the components do really go well together and complement each other. The bottle is super classy and looks great on the shelf. The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense builds on the floriental legacy of The Only One line with a captivating new scent. Like the woman it represents, the fragrance is an intricate combination of intense and solar sensuality. Alluringly feminine and irresistibly seductive, its signature lies in the surprising combination of dazzling gold
